Inclusive Early Learning Center (IELC)

“A special place for special children.”

PdN Children’s Inclusive Early Learning Center (IELC) is an operation licensed by Texas Health & Human Services (THHS) Child Care Licensing and accredited with a Maximum Four-Star rating by Texas Rising Star. We serve all children, with or without special needs, in an inclusive environment. We believe all children benefit from interactions with others who are different from themselves learning to value different ideas, cultures and people.

 

OUR PROGRAM

Our Program provides many opportunities for social-emotional, cognitive, physical, and language growth using hands-on activities and learning through play. Utilizing Frog Street Curriculum in all classrooms as it is designed using the latest scientific early brain development research.

 

INFANTS (2-17 months)

Our infant classrooms use Frog Street Infants designed to build strong foundations for little ones. Easy- to-use activities that:

  • Equip caregivers to nurture children, foster essential growth, and build a strong learning foundation
  • Optimize key windows of opportunity for growth and development
  • Designed with intention & purpose & organized around developmental learning domains

 

TODDLERS (18-36 months)

Our toddler classrooms use Frog Street Toddlers that focuses on enhancing the simple joy of childhood while equipping caregivers to nurture curiosity through exploration.

  • uses activities organized around the five developmental domains
  • easy infusion of daily routines

PRE-SCHOOL (Three-year-olds)

Frog Street Threes is utilized in the Preschool Program as it provides intentional instruction in key areas of development. As they transition from parallel play to interactive play, their language development begins to flourish.

  • Well-rounded scope of activities that address all developmental domains
  • Intentional instruction that optimizes key windows of opportunity for growth and development

PRE-KINDERGARTEN (Four-year-olds)

The Frog Street Pre-K curriculum is a comprehensive, dual-language program designed to meet the needs of diverse learners while supporting developmental learning domains. This engaging, interactive pre-kindergarten curriculum celebrates the joy of learning as children travel down the road to success.

  • Research-based concepts for literacy, math, and content domains
  • Strategies to build strong social-emotional foundation to learn conflict resolution and emotion management
  • Differentiated instruction, cultural responsiveness, and support for English language learners

All classrooms are carefully equipped to meet the needs and development of children’s goals. Classroom setup sparks interest to stimulate curiosity and imagination. Both teacher-led and child-led activities are utilized in the daily schedule. Lastly, a good balance of quiet and active play, both in and outdoors is provided.

SCHOOL AGED PROGRAMS (5-13 years)

PdN Children’s IELC provides after-school care. The Recreational team assists children with homework and offer fun and engaging activities. For children who are enrolled in the after-school program, a full day program is provided during school closures.  For summer break the Summer Camp is a fun-filled experience for school-aged children.

The Recreational teachers ensure all summer activities are varied to attract children’s interests loaded with a wide range of fun projects. Summer Camp availability is limited and children enrolled in the after-school program.
